Not for
If a revenue officer is assigned to your case, you're facing active levy or seizure, or you have complex business payroll issues, you likely need professional representation — that's not what this is, and we'll tell you so on the intake call.

What you walk away with
$499 setup, then $99/mo, cancel anytime.
$500–$1,000 for the IRS call and records pull — full-service firms charge $3,500–$7,500 retainers to take over your case. Most people don't need that — they need the paperwork done right and someone in their corner.
The boundary, stated plainly
We prepare paperwork and explain your options. We don't represent you before the IRS, we don't submit forms for you, and we never take over your case. Everything is done with you, in your name, under your control. A temporary collection hold is your right as a taxpayer — we just do the asking for you.
Do It With Me is reviewed by Brevitax staff — not outsourced to a third-party network. You still review, sign, and send in your own name.
Frequently asked questions
Who reviews my paperwork on Do It With Me?
Brevitax staff walk through your account, strategy, and forms with you — reviewed in-house, never outsourced to a third-party reviewer network. You still sign and send everything in your own name; we do not represent you before the IRS.
Is this the same as the $199 IRS call tier?
No. The $199 first-month tier on Pricing is a live three-way IRS call for records and a collection-hold request, then $29/mo software. Do It With Me ($499 setup, $99/mo) is the full guided path — records, financial interview, strategy session, prepared packet, and ongoing check-ins.
Is this tax relief?
No. Tax relief firms usually take over your case, represent you before the IRS, and charge thousands upfront. Do It With Me is paperwork and planning prepared with you — you stay in control, review everything, and send forms in your own name.
Do you talk to the IRS for me?
On setup, yes — with your authorization we can call for records and to request a temporary collection hold. We do not represent you before the IRS, negotiate as your advocate, or speak for you in enforcement matters.
What if I already have a CPA?
Keep them. Your complete records and prepared packet make their job easier — they can review what we built with you instead of reconstructing everything from scratch.
What's in the monthly $99?
Ongoing tracking on your account, quarterly IRS record refreshes, a monthly check-in call, and full access to the Brevitax software.
Can I cancel?
Anytime. If you cancel Do It With Me, the self-serve software tier remains available at $29/mo.
What if you can't help me?
We tell you on the intake call, before you pay anything. If you need representation or a different kind of help, we'll say so plainly.
